  3. Surrogacy in India has few legal issues with the contract agreements and the relationship of the foreign couple. In order to regulate a Government Organization ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) issued some guidelines. Laws in India allow a surrogate mother to withdraw her rights from the baby born to her with an agreement prepared prior to the surrogacy process.
