Raghunandan is the founder and spokesperson for the Indian corruption fighting website, ipaidabribe.com. He also acts as an advisor to various governance bodies including the United Nationals Development Programme (UNDP, India) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Mr. Agung Hardjono has been the acting Deputy III at the Presidential Delivery Unit (UKP4) in Indonesia since March 2010. Video conference Room Ameriono Ismangil 08159904730 Yoni@ismangil.com, Dyan Ekawati 08159048664 dyan007@ui.ac.id Program Contact Linh Hoai Nguyen ________________________________________ . • Introduction • While ICT is not a magic bullet when it comes to ensuring greater transparency and less corruption, the use of ICT as a tool in anti-corruption efforts has a potential in engaging people, increasing access to information and improving transparency in a number of important areas. • In the East Asia Pacific (EAP) region, where the efforts to tap into the ICT as a tool to curb corruption has grown significantly, learning from the experiences of others will provide practical guidance on how to reap benefits from better understanding of the challenges and opportunities from the use of ICT in anti-corruption efforts. • Some of the efforts have been inspired by an Indian website, ipaidabribe.com.
