MultiMission Facility Infrastructure is evolving to accommodate the full set of requirements from existing and future ESA supported missions FEOMI (Facilities Evolution into and Open Multimission Infrastructure) project is progressing with the porting of the present mission-specific Envisat, ERS and TPMs ground segments to the new architecture. Requirements definition and Design phases completed Final acceptance scheduled for end July Migration from old to new systems starting early Sep. MMFI Current Status

In line with Oxygen, all new ESA EO missions will rely at various levels on the MMFI architecture and components GOCE Long Term Archive development completed AEOLUS and SMOS LTA development to be started, architecture now re-baselined to be fully MMFI compliant GMES Sentinel missions PDGS will be based on MMFI Project to integrate MMFI with distributed processing (GRID) will start in September CASPAR ESA test-bed based on MMFI. Preliminary idea to port GOME processor under GRID for CASPAR. New Missions and Activities
