  2. Career Description • The official title for garbagemen is sanitation engineer. • The industry of garbagemen is waste collection. • Garbagemen are the unsung civic heroes of the city. Every week they go to everyone’s house and take their trash. Basically they collect people’s trash and take it to the dump.

  6. Summary Being a trash collector is the best job for me because I am a very physical person and throwing trash into a truck is very physically demanding. The trends show that due to more urban areas developing more garbagemen are needed. Based on my estimated budget this career will support it.
