  2. Early life • Born August 17, 1974 in Napels, Italy. • Moved to Washington DC at the age of 6 with her family. • Learned English by watching daytime soaps and news channels. • Since elementary school she knew she wanted to be a new anchor.

  3. Education • Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland • University of Maryland: B.A. in journalism from Phillip Merrill School of Journalism. • American University of Washington: Masters degree in journalism. • Worked as a feature correspondent for the University television station and Capitol Hill news bureau covering stories for the Pentagon, the Supreme Court, the State Department, and the White House.

  5. E! NEWS • Giuliana became famously known as an entertainment news correspondent for E! News. • Giuliana was hired in 2002 at E as a program correspondent. • 2005 became solo anchor and managing editor for the show, taking it from the lowest rated show on the network to number one. • 2006 was joined by Ryan Seacrest and became co-anchor. • 2012 joined by Terrence J and is still co-anchor and manging editor for E!
