  11. What does “engage” mean? • To cause to participate • To bind oneself to do something • To take part in a venture • To do or take part in something • To pledge oneself, a promise • To begin and carry on an activity • To enter into conflict or battle

  14. 6. Worship Leaders • Check duty roster and let James or Grant know you’re here. • If you’re not going to be at a service when you’re scheduled for something, let them know.

  15. 7. Teachers • Be 10 minutes early for classes. • Make arrangements for substitutes when you can’t teach. • Students – Be on time and prepare for class

  16. 8. Small Groups • Become more involved with your group. • Let your group know of needs within the group.

  17. 9. Evangelism • Remember – Our main focus as a congregation of God’s people should be to spread the gospel. • Exploration of other mediums to reach people.

  18. 10. Prayer • Let’s resolve this year to be fully engaged in daily personal prayer. • Organized prayer meetings • Evangelistic Prayer Meetings • Small Group prayer times for different groups • Prayer meeting for urgent needs

  19. 11-13. Making it Personal • Do a personal review to see where you can make improvements and help the work here at Northwood.
