  18. Step 1 - Check the latest CFR volume that contains the CFR title and section you are using. Step 2 - Check the latest LSA pamphlet. References will be to Federal Register pages. Step 3 - Read the amendments, new regulations, or proposed regulations in the Federal Register. Step 4 - Check the last Federal Register of every month since the dates included in the LSA pamphlet. Look in the Reader Aids section toward the back of the issue. Step 5 - Read the amendments, new regulations, or proposed regulations in the Federal Register. Updating Federal Regulations
