LG G5 Earlier, the LG has announced that it will launch the G5 flagship smartphone in India in next quarter. It has already showcased the smartphone at MWC 2016 event in Barcelona, Spain. The highlighting feature of the smartphone is its innovative battery and modular designing.It is expected that smartphone will be available at a price tag of around Rs. 50,000. LG G5 sports a 5.3-inch QHD IPS display with a pixel density of 554ppi and is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. It is operated on Android 6.0 based Marshmallow operating system and coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The high-end smartphone comes with 32GB UFS ROM with an expandable storage of up to 2TB. The highlighting feature of the smartphone is its camera section, which is equipping a dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel camera, along with 8-megapixel front facing camera to take selfies. It is backed by a 2800mAh battery with the support of Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
Lenovo Vibe K5 and K5 Plus The Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm has continually expanding its budget line of smartphones. In the MWC 2016, it has showcased two new smartphones dubbed as Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus. According to the sources, the Vibe K5 is priced around Rs. 8,800, whereas the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus costs approx. Rs. 10,200. The Vibe K5 features a 5-inch IPS LCD full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 quad-core SoC with Adreno 405GPU and 2GB RAM. The device has the internal storage of 16Gb, that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. It bears a 13-megapixel camera at the rear end while 5-megapixel front shooting camera. The Vibe K5 Plus is slightly different from Vibe K5. It is offering with more powerful hardware modules. For the photography, it incorporates a 13-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera. Both the handset are powered by an Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and are backed by a 2750mAh battery. For the connectivity, they include dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and Micro-USB 2.0.
Obi MV1 Silicon Valley smartphone manufacturer Obi World phone has announced a budget smartphone dubbed as Obi MV1. The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 212 processor coupled with 1or 2GB RAM. It clubs a 32GB of inbuilt storage. At the camera section, it is loaded with 8-megapixel camera at the rear end while 2-megapixel camera at the front end of the panel. The device is enriched with DTS audio technology and is priced at $149. It is expected to arrive in India by April this year.
Sony Xperia X & XA Sony is known for its high-end smartphones, but this time, it has launched its two new affordable smartphones, which was showcased earlier in MWC 2016 event. The Sony has introduced the latest Snapdragon 820 processor to its X variant smartphones. Both the handsets feature a 5-inch display with pixel density 720p (in XA) and 1080p (in X). The Xperia XA houses a 16GB of native storage and is packed with a 2300mAh battery along with a 13-megapixel primary camera and 8-megapixel secondary camera. Gionee Elife S8 Gionee has announced a new flagship smartphone dubbed as Elife S8. It is the first smartphone after the iPhone 6S to offer the 3D touch technology. It is featuring a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM. The handset is enriched with the full metal body with invisible antennas.
