22. Frequently Asked Question Q: What is “personal use” and how does it differ from “home use” provisions for other software? A: “Personal use” in terms of the Microsoft Employee Select program means that a faculty or staff member may purchase the software for private uses that are not connected with Northwestern.

32. Frequently Asked Question Q: What if I need to reinstall my software? A: If you are reformatting a drive, you are permitted to reinstall your site-licensed software as long as you provide your prior proof of purchase or order number to NUIT.
