Strong Motion Instrumentation Program • Manages a network of accelerographs throughout the State (free field, hi-rise bldgs, dams, bridges) • Collaborates with CISN to produce Shake Map • Obtains records for buildings duringearthquake • Rapid dissemination of data through CESMD • Data to help improve codes and design
