  1. Chipmunks BY Claire and Andrew Chipmunks are very interesting animals.

  2. The colors of Chipmunks Chipmunks look like little squirrels that have been painted. They are dark brown with a little bit of white.

  3. Height and weight of Chipmunks It’s about 8 inches tall. It weighs about 2 – 5 ounces.

  4. Baby Chipmunks Baby Chipmunks are called yung. The mother Chipmunk has about 3 to 6 yung at a time.

  5. Baby Chipmunks They look very different than the mother.

  6. Chipmunk Meals Chipmunks eat nuts, seeds, berries, buds, insects, bugs, fruit, snails, frogs, and other small animals. It doesn’t have any prey.

  7. Chipmunk Homes Chipmunks live in burrows either underground or in trees.

  8. Predators of a Chipmunk Coyotes, Bobcats, Foxes, Weasels, and Hawks all eat Chipmunks.

  9. Chipmunk protection Chipmunks protect themselves by biting and squeaking at its’ enemy when it’s attacked. A Chipmunk does camouflauge. It even hibernates!

  10. How Long A Chipmunk Lives A Chipmunk lives two to 3 years.

  11. Why WE Like Chipmunks We like Chipmunks because they are so cute! We also like them because they have really big eyes and are very soft and cuddly. It’s special for it’s stripes.
