  6. What can be funded under key action 1? • Immersion courses in Europe • Language courses in Europe • Job shadowing

How does it work? • Schools need only make one application for a group of Teachers as opposed to individual applications. • For the application form, you will not need to decide who exactly is going and where, BUT you will need to PLAN the number of teachers and the duration of the stay • http://www.erasmusplus.org.uk/how-to-apply

  8. Deadlines • Application to be submitted by Monday 17th March • Applications cover courses from 1 July 2014-30 June 2015 • Results for the grant expected end of May 2014.

  9. Registration • Schools need to register on the European Commission Authentication Service (ECAS) in order to get a 9 digit code (PIC) which is then used as a reference for application. • https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/cas/eim/external/register.cgi

Registration • You will need the following details about your school: • VAT number of the school/council • Business registration number (SEED code) • Legal name (could be school name or council) • Address • Contact person (can be anyone) • Once you have completed this you are ready to be able to login when the application form becomes available.

  12. How much funding can you get? Per person: 275 euros for travel expenses (distances 500-1999km) 140 euros per day for accommodation/subsustence (1-14 days) 350 euros administration fee 70 euros per day for course fees
