Assessment • Over the eleven week term you will: • Lead research seminars on (a) a chapter from Chemero's book, “Radical Embodied Cognitive Science” and (b) material related to a chapter from Chemero's book. • Write an extended (~3,000 word) researched essay (by end autumn term), “The role of the body in ecological cognition” demonstrating appropriate background research. I.e. Is a body necessary for ecological cognition; what is strong and weak embodiment? The relationship between ecological cognition and embodiment and enactivism etc. Bishop: Embodiment and Enactivism
