Email Gateway Overview • Interface between fax server and mail server. • Forwards incoming faxes to users email inbox as TIF or PDF file attachments. • Accepts SMTP messages and submits them to the outgoing fax queue. • Notifies users of success/failure or outgoing faxes. • Tool for integrating 3d party apps.   6. Before you Begin • FaxPress Plus Server must be up and running • IP Address of mail server • Identify users • Run Active Directory Synchronizer? • Attachment file types? • Incoming/Outgoing/Both? • Success notifications?
