Format for Case Study The Situation/Problem: Set the scene and meet the problematic situation. This should be an introduction to your cases study. Problem Analysis/Hypothesis: Form hypotheses, asking: What do I know? What assumptions do I have? What questions do I have? What resources do I need? Field Insights/Procedures: Search for and gather information and perspectives in the field. How are you going to conduct your case study? After you have your procedures developed, you should get it approved and then conduct your research! Resource Development/Observations: Identify documentation needed to inform field insights. In addition to your own observations, you need to find 3-5 sources from your textbook or the internet that relate to your case. Test Points/Analysis: Thinking critically, evaluate hypotheses and possibly reformulate conclusions. Define problem and determine best fit solution. Proposals/Conclusion: Present the solution. Debrief the problem. Draw conclusions and make recommendations.
