Participants • All new 2013-14 EL hires • 15 current teachers (selected via application) • A network of school and district administrators
Participant Expectations • Engage in all sessions, commit to apply learning, share in learning groups and at campuses, document progress following NSRF protocols. • Be actively involved in new media and social media venues of sharing (i.e. Blogs, Twitter, and other connecting venues). • Commitment to Focused Instruction and SOEI.
Participant Expectations • Meet monthly F2F: Face-to-Face . • Mid-year and end-of-year community share via unConference format . • Include opportunities for classroom swaps/visits at least 1x per year per team
Results • Direct impact on SOEI, student engagement, focused instruction, and use of technology to enhance learning outcomes. • Increased student achievement driven by formative assessment and reflective CFGs. • An online archive of technology integration aligned with Focused Instruction and SOEI, tech & global collaboration projects.
