Impacts on Kent School District Patrons • Reduces need to displace students on large scale • Reduces need for additional buses • Loss of Existing AV of 1.7% in 2006 • By 2014 Tax Rate projected to remain at current level of $4.59, rather than decreasing to $4.46. • Delays need for Elementary School beyond 2010. • Loss of School Impact Fees from area
Impacts on Auburn School District Patrons • Projected to reduce School Tax Rates from $5.36 to $5.32 in 2006 and projected to decrease to $4.72 in 2014 • May need additional Elementary School • Additional transportation costs • School Impact Fees to be collected from Recommendation Area
Impacts on Recommendation Area Patrons • Students live in Auburn go to school in Auburn • Grandfathering and Waivers • Increases School Tax Rate from $4.59 to $5.32 • Approximately 73 cents per $1000 AV • Rate projected to decline to $4.72 by 2014
