Executive Leadership • Executive approval by the leadership • Promote effective communication early • Encourage involvement • Demand agency accountability
Building an Effective Team • Stress criticality of community needs and long-term sustainability • Identify skills sets and delegate responsibilities when appropriate • Highlight member experience and historical knowledge • Set clear expectations, timelines, and meet them • Meet regularly pre disaster and post disaster
