  2. Outline • Comments to be resolved: • CID# 134, 142, 254, 369, 519 • Recommend Resolution • Resolution Detail

  3. Comments & Recommend Resolution • CID# 134: • Comment (8.1.2.7, page 33, line 27): • I don't understand the description. It says "Each bit corresponds to an array in phyGenericPHYDescriptors." According to Table 70, phyGenericPHYDescriptors is an array. • Proposed Change: • Replace the word "array" with something more appropriate like "element.“ • Recommend Resolution: Accept in principle • Resolution: Change the wording to: “Each bit position corresponds to an element in phySUNGenericPHYDescriptors” • CID# 142: • Comment (8.1.2.7.2, page 36, line 24): • Text says, "phySUNGenericPHYDescriptors array consists of up to 16 MR-FSK Generic PHY descriptors." Table 70 shows a range of 0-16. • Proposed Change: • Change the table range to 0-15. • Recommend Resolution: Reject • Resolution Detail: • The total number of MR-FSK Generic PHY descriptors is 16. It is correct that the range of phySUNNumGenericPHYDescriptors is 0-16 (0 means the device does not have any Generic PHY Descriptors).

  4. Comments & Recommend Resolution • CID# 369: • Comment (8.1.2.7, page 32, line 54): • If the MR-FSK Generic PHY operating mode is defined in the standard, it is on channel page 7 (standard-defined PHY operating modes). If it is on channel page eight, it is not defined in the standard, so it should not be mentioned in this document. • Recommend Resolution: Reject • Resolution Detail: • As described in the draft, channel page 8 is used to specify the MR-FSK Generic PHY modes supported by the device.

  5. Comments & Recommend Resolution • CID# 519: • Comment (9.3, page 46, line 28-52): • Since Generic PHY is for MR-FSK PHY only, the note "This parameter is not valid for other values of the ModulationScheme parameter" in the Description of "FSKModulationOrder", "FSKModulationIndex", and "FSKBT" is no more needed. • Proposed Change: • Delete "This parameter is not valid for other values of the ModulationScheme parameter" from the Description of "FSKModulationOrder", "FSKModulationIndex", and "FSKBT". • Recommend Resolution: Accept
