We offer a wide range of services to various industries and provide our expertise in analysing, planning and implementation of traffic control solutions. Our Traffic Control Services and Products include: • Supply and installation of road traffic control systems and traffic equipment; • A modern fleet of purpose-built Traffic Control and Safety Vehicles including Truck Mounted Attenuators and Cone Deployment Vehicles. We offer an extensive range of traffic control equipment for hire, including traffic lights, traffic signals, road cones, arrow boards, temporary lights, emergency signs, pedestrian barriers and manual traffic signs.

3. Transportable Traffic Lights Southern Cross Traffic utilises the most up to date transportable traffic lights that are fully compliant within the Industry. Variable Message System (VMS) Boards Southern Cross Traffic provide VMS boards for any occasion, including project worksites and major events to ensure maximum notification. Radar Activated Speed Signs (RASS) Southern Cross Traffic are able to control vehicle speeds on worksites by utilising Radar Activated Speed Signs (RASS). These signs ensure drivers slow down to the required speed as they pass through worksites and dangerous areas. Hybrid Lighting Towers Southern Cross Traffic procures the latest in Lighting Tower equipment. The Lighting Towers are eco-friendly and provide maximum lighting during night works or where lighting is insufficient.

4. Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMA) Southern Cross Traffic deploy the latest Truck Mounted Attenuators from industry leading Manufacturers. We use Scorpion and Safe Stop TMAs to ensure maximum protection in the workplace if motor vehicle accidents should occur. Our experienced and trained staff are fully accredited in TMA procedures. These vehicles provide maximum efficiency for cone deployment and are sourced from recognised industry leading Suppliers. Our skilled Traffic staff are trained in the approved procedures for Cone Deployment Vehicles. Truck Mounted VMS Boards Southern Cross Traffic supply truck mounted VMS Boards. Truck Mounted VMS boards are regularly used for highspeed or shadow vehicle works. These vehicles carry equipment for lane closures and small-scale works. Southern Cross Traffic Field Vehicles Our fleet of Southern Cross Traffic vehicles are modern and purpose-built. We have established excellent relationships with leading industry Suppliers to ensure all vehicles are compliant to our customer needs.

5. IMPLEMENTATION Southern Cross Traffic care about our client’s projects. Our team members are skilled and experienced across various road work solutions ranging from backstreet stop and go and sub developments, to major Arterial Roads and Motorways. Our Traffic Specialists manage our carefully chosen staff and monitor their progress onsite to ensure quality and conformance. Southern Cross Traffic utilise signs and equipment that are fully compliant to Australian Standards ensuring all our Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) are implemented with the highest level of quality and compliance. ON SITE TECHNOLOGY Samsung Galaxy Tablet Southern Cross Traffic use Samsung Galaxy Tablets for a totally paperless system. Management send emails to Field staff via the Tablet with Traffic Control Plans and Road Occupancy Licences as required. The Tablets have Dropbox capacity ensuring all necessary documents e.g. SWMS are accessible and able to be presented onsite if requested. The Tablet enables staff to complete their Site-specific documents and time sheets online then these are automatically emailed to the client at the time of shift completion. Radios Southern Cross Traffic uses 80 Channel UHF 5-Watt Radios. All Supervisors and Controllers are issued with a complete set of these.

6. TRAFFIC CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT PLANS RAPID PLAN Rapid Plan is the latest software for developing and amending Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) and Southern Cross Traffic utilise this system. After a TCP request, we promise to deliver your TCP within five (5) days. Liaising with Road Authorities, Councils, Communities and Police Our Traffic Planners are experienced and well connected within the industry. We do our utmost to ensure our clients have all their License Approvals and Permits on time. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLANS Southern Cross Traffic can visit your site and draft a Traffic Management Plan to meet your site requirements. Our Traffic Planners provide detailed plans that show the stages of construction and make provisions for vehicle movement deliveries and alternate traffic movements at your site. Industrial Compliance Southern Cross Traffic are supported by Southern Cross Group’s corporate leaders ensuring compliance across all relevant areas including people, health and safety, finance and legal. We are aware there have been recent cases brought by the Fair Work Ombudsman where the Federal Court has deemed host companies (the client) as being partially responsible for underpayment of wages claims. Southern Cross Traffic give you the assurance and is willing to provide evidence of compliance if required.

7. ACCREDITED AND EXPERIENCED TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICERS, SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS Traffic Controllers Southern Cross Traffic Controllers are RMS compliant. We take great care in ensuring that all our field staff are experienced and correctly licensed for the task. Our Traffic Allocators will not roster a staff member who is unlicensed. Management Southern Cross Traffic Managers are industry experts with at least 10 years of field experience. The Managers/Supervisors mentor their Field staff, demonstrate processes and share their knowledge and expertise. YODA YODA is our onsite compliance management system capturing data in real time. Field staff and Management use YODA for: • Site Risk Assessments • Daily Toolbox talks • Vehicle maintenance checks • Daily signage checks • Injury Management • Fatigue Management • Worksite Assessments • Traffic Controller Assessments Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) Southern Cross Traffic work to a SWMS for every task e.g. Gate Duties, Roadworks or Site specific. OH&S staff at Southern Cross Traffic work with our Traffic Specialists to ensure all SWMS are practical and accurate.

8. JOB BOOKING AND ROSTERING SYSTEM Manstat Our advanced booking and rostering system Manstat offers our traffic professionals an easy booking portal that interfaces with all aspects of our operation for an “end to end” solution. Information is entered to cover all requirements for each job or project. Manstat tracks every employee including the locations where they have worked, with whom, which company they have worked for and the type of work (level of difficulty) performed. The information provides Southern Cross Traffic and the clients real time information to track and manage the projects or jobs. ON-GOING TRAINING C.R.O.S.S. Southern Cross Traffic have implemented the C.R.O.S.S. online reporting and compliance system which enables us to conduct training and inductions online across multiple platforms without the need for employees to attend the office or other classroom type settings. With C.R.O.S.S. in place, all inductions and training can be completed online via a PC, Smartphone or Tablet. C.R.O.S.S. also generates automated reports directly to our Training and Compliance Manager ensuring training and qualification compliance. 24/7 Operations Centre Southern Cross Traffic has a 24/7 Operations Centre. Our clients can call the Operations Centre at any time and speak with a team member to dispatch Supervisory or Field staff for any additional day or night requirements. CCTV TOWER Southern Cross Traffic can monitor your site continually with our transportable mobile CCTV ‘Sentinel’ tower. The tower is fitted with a 35x pan-tilt-zoom camera, on board DVR, movement sensing devices, night vision infra-red lighting, VOIP public address system with horn speakers, vandal resistant and has wireless broadband communications to our 24/7 Operations Centre. The tower is individually designed with a camera/detector configuration system specific to the needs of the site. Our clients are given access so they can monitor communications from this tower.

STAFF RECRUITMENT Southern Cross Traffic’s experienced People and Culture team are skilled in sourcing short and long-term labour for our clients in metropolitan, regional, rural and semi-remote areas, often at short notice. We recognise our Field staff are the face of our business and play a key part in our success. To ensure we assign the most appropriate team members for the project, all Traffic Controllers and Team Leader candidates undergo a rigorous recruitment process to ensure they have the necessary experience and capability to meet the required services. During the current expansion project in the Sydney CBD, skilled Traffic Management has been essential to ensure that the arteries of the city continue to flow during what is a disruptive period of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Southern Cross Traffic provide Gate Duties, Pedestrian Management, Lane Closures and Traffic Management to help ensure the successful implementation of this critical infrastructure project. Visionstream Southern Cross Traffic perform a range of services for Visionstream, a major Telecommunications, Network Design and Management organisation. Currently we provide Pedestrian Management and Lane Closures as well as preparing TCPs and ROLs. Utility Mapping Utility Mapping are industry leaders in utility locating, mapping, non-destructive digging and survey solutions to a wide range of markets across Australia. Southern Cross Traffic are involved in escorting and protecting Surveyors for utility mapping. We provide shadow vehicles, lane closures, and shoulder closures for Utility Mapping crews. We also provide Traffic Control Plans and Road Occupancy Licence preparation. Scentre Group (Westfield Australia) Southern Cross Traffic provide Car Park Management for over twenty (20) Westfield Shopping Centres throughout NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and ACT. Our services ensure the safety and protection of pedestrians and vehicle in and around car parks, loading docks and adjoining areas around shopping centres.
