Roosevelt issued the Executive Order 9066. • The Japanese people living in Internment Camps were the ones who were affected by Executive Order 9066. • The Issei were the first generation of the Japanese people • The Nisei were the second generation of the Japanese people. • Gila River, Santa Fe, and Pomona were three of the relocation centers for Internment. • Japanese American volunteers from the mainland United States and the Hawaiian Islands were the 442nd Regimental Combat Team
