  1. ¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? Español 3

  2. ¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? It was Tuesday of last week. It was a beautiful sunny day. It was 7:00 in the morning. I was walking to school. I was singing a song. It was a good song! I was happy.

  3. ¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? Suddenly, I remembered. My Spanish teacher said we have a test today! I received the reminder on my phone but I forgot. I stopped. I wept a little. I was very sad.

  4. ¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? I didn’t know what to do. I took out my phone. I called Dr. Phil. He was listening carefully while I was explaining the situation. Then, Dr. Phil had an idea!

  5. ¿Pretérito o Imperfecto? He told me to use Quizlet! I uploaded the Quizlet app onto my phone, and I started to walk again. While I was walking, I was studying the vocabulary. When I finally arrived at school, I knew it all! I took the test. I got an A! It was a great day!

  6. A titetoca…Write an example for each situation: • Setting the scene. • Physical description in the past. • Time/Date/or Weather • Habitual past action. (Siempre – always) • Action that did not begin or end at a specific time. (Cuando era niño…) • Two simultaneous actions. (Mientras – while) • Continuing / interrupting action. (Cuando)

  7. ¡A Conversar! • Dile al amigo: 5 cosasquehicisteayer/anoche. • Ahoradile: ¿Quéestabapasandocuandohicisteesascosas?
