3. IISMTURNS13 IISM was first established in 2010 with the dream of creating young professionals who could contribute to the growth of sports in India. And we have left no stone unturned in turning this dreamintoareality. We have fostered entrepreneurship and innovation among our students and alumni alike, who have established their own ventures in the sports sector. With our active involvement in various projects, research, training, internships, and events related to sports management and sports science,wehavealwaysproventimeandtimeagainthatwewillstopatnothingtillweprovidethe besttoourstudents.

5. ‘23 The International Institute of Sports & Management (IISM) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of 'JUNOON'23,' India's first-everSports Management Festival,which waswholly organisedandexecutedbyIISMstudents. Thiswasathree-dayintercollegiatesportsfestinwhichover100IISMstudentsworkedrelentlessly foraboutthreemonths. The students were divided into departments, and they were in charge of complete planning and execution.Thesedepartmentswere:socialmediateam,themarketingteam,thefinanceteam,the publicrelationsteam,andtheoperationsteam. The Social Media Team was in charge of handling the social media handles of JUNOON as well as creating online and offline posters and ensuring that everyone could view the live action via the stories. The marketing team secured sponsorships from big brands. These included support from theJIJAUFoundation,Decathlon(theequipmentpartner),andMuscleBlaze(thenutritionpartner). The financial team ensured that the sponsorship funding was used appropriately and that the accountsweresettledaftertheevent.Thepublicrelationsteamworkedwithinstitutionstoget250 participantsfrom26collegesacrossMumbai.Theoperationsteamwasinchargeofon-the-ground activitiesandensuringthateverythingwasinplacethroughoutthematches. WiththeIPLaroundthecorner,itonlymadesensetohaveanIPLauctiononDay1.OnDays2and3, football matches were organised, and the students got this excellent platform to showcase their skills. Allinall,JUNOON'23achievedaspectacularachievementinits5thedition. KudostoeveryonewhohelpedmakeJUNOON'23areality.

6. FAREWELLTOBATCH2023 WebidafondfarewelltoourBSM2020–2023andMSM2021–2023studentswhocompletedtheir courseswithflyingcolours. Theywerearemarkablebatch ofstudents whoshowedgreat enthusiasmandpassionforlearningandgrowinginthesportsindustry. They participated in various events, projects, internships, and volunteering opportunities that enriched their knowledge and skills. They also made lasting friendships and memories with their peersandfaculty. KaushikPandey Archer InJune2021,whentheworldwasslowlyrecoveringfrom theCOVID-19pandemic,myfamilyandIvisitedatrekking site. There, I stumbled upon a stall that had a bow and arrow.Theideawastohitthebullseyeandwinprizes. BeingabigfanoftheDCUniversecharacter"Arrow,"Iwas immediatelydrawntotheideaofshooting anarrow myself.AsIaimedandreleasedthearrow,Ifelt an unparalleled rush of adrenaline. The experience left me cravingformore. RISINGSPORTS STARSOFINDIA As soon as I came back from the trip, I looked up where I couldpracticearcheryinMumbaiandcameacrossPoisar Gymkhana.Iimmediatelyregisteredandhaveregularly beenpracticingatthegymkhanaeversince. NeverinmywildestdreamsdidIimaginethatIwouldcompeteinformalmatcheswhilepracticing, butnotonlydidIparticipate,butIalsowonafewmedals.Thesensationofshootinganarrowcalms mynervesandisoneofthebestfeelingsI'veeverhad. AsIpursuemyBachelor'sdegreeinSportsManagement,Iam thrilledaboutcontinuingthisjourneyandhoningmyarcheryskills. StudyingsportsmanagementatIISMhasgivenmeagreater graspofhowtolookatarcheryfrom amanagementand operationsstandpoint,whichhasfurtherfueledmyloveforthe game. Ihopetocontinuefeelingtheexhilarationofshootinganarrow asIprogressinmyarcheryjourneyandprofessionalcareer.
