The major focus of the Symbiosis Statistical Institute (SSI) is to provide quality education and train students to translate and apply statistical knowledge to address real-world problems in diverse inter-disciplinary domains. 1. B.Sc. (Applied Statistics And Data Science) - Our institution proudly offers a comprehensive four-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Applied Statistics and Data Science program. This innovative curriculum encompasses Applied Statistics and Data Science as the major subjects, complemented by Business Studies as a minor, aligning seamlessly with the vision outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020. Batchelor of Science in Applied Statistics and Data Science is four- year full time Honours programme designed in the spirit of implementing National Education Policy 2020. The primary focus of this programme is to provide a thriving ecosystem to develop data driven technological solutions based on statistical techniques. Eligibility Criteria - Std. XII (10 + 2) pass or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes), with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Students who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of Semester-6. Eligibility Criteria for the Multiple entries would be as per University’s Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes. Intake - The program admits a maximum of 60 students per academic year.

At Symbiosis Statistical Institute, our Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Statistics programme is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and 21st century skills required for industry in various domains. Prospective candidates for the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Statistics program at Symbiosis Statistical Institute must fulfil the following academic requirements. A graduate degree in Statistics and/or Mathematics as principal and/or subsidiary level from University/Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes). any statutory/ recognized Note: B.E/B.Tech. with Mathematics/Statistics at the Subsidiary Level may also apply.
