  1. Schimmel Quadrilaterals Part 2 CCGPS definitions

  2. Quadrilateral • Any four sided figure

  3. Kite • 4 sided figure with pairs of congruent adjacent sides.

  4. Trapezoid • 4 sided figure with at least 1 pair of parallel sides.

  5. Parallelogram • All of the attributes of a trapezoid, and 2 pairs of parallel sides (which results in congruent opposite angles)

  6. Rhombus • All of the attributes of a parallelogram and a kite • Quadrilateral with 4 congruent sides

  7. Rectangle • All of the attributes of a parallelogram • 4 right angles

  8. Square • All of the attributes of a parallelogram, rhombus, and rectangle • 4 equal sides • 4 equal angles
