  13. Listening and Speaking:Handling Case Report (Ⅰ) • Sample Conversation 1: • A: Hello. You look so worried, what happened? • B: Yes I come to report that I was robbed and my handbag was snatched. • A: Would you please take a seat and tell us about the incident in detail? • B: Ok, thank you. • A: Now when and where did all that happen? • B: This morning while I was walking along the underground path in front of the railway station, someone rushed at me and struck me on the head. And then my handbag was snatched. • A: can you describe the attacker in detail? • B: I’m afraid I can’t, because I felt quite dizzy after being struck and he ran away quickly.

Sample Conversation 2: • A: Can you give a description of the snatcher roughly? • B: Ah… he was short and thin, wearing a gray suit and blue pants, and he was 20 or so. • A: Can you describe your handbag? • B: It’s a leather bag, about 30 cm long and 20 cm wide. It’s black. • A: What was there in your handbag? • B: About 300 pounds, several credit cards, a mobile phone and some certificates such as my visa, passport and resident certificate. • A: Please fill in this form.
