This drug not only promotes mental acuity and boosts its processing speed but also enhances motivation, focus and energy. Modvigil is a generic Modafinil brand that is taken by people who suffer from hypopnea syndrome, sleep apnea or narcolepsy. Even people suffering from shift work disorders take this drug because it is said to improve alertness and mental energy. It also improves cognitive performance. This smart drug not only improves focus and concentration but it also has a mood-brightening effect on individuals who suffer from depression or anxiety. Compared to other central nervous system stimulants, Modvigil is different structurally. The withdrawal symptoms are less than other stimulants. Side Effects of Modvigil Even Modvigil side effects are few when compared to other stimulants. Some of the common Modvigil side effects are nausea and headache whereas some less common side effects include, sore throat, chest pain, shaking, anorexia, shortness of breath, frequent urination, uncontrollable facial movements, chills and fever.
