  2. Low-Fi Prototypes • Low Fidelity Prototypes Development • Prototypes Evaluation • Results obtained

  3. Low-Fi Prototypes Low Fidelity Prototypes Development • we developed two alternatives of our LFPs • the alternatives were similar in functionality but with a few different issues • as so, a few differences in aspect were also made • we focused on different functionality alternatives so we could explore more features for the application • also, we had some doubts about some of our requirements

  4. Low-Fi Prototypes Low Fidelity Prototypes Development

  5. Low-Fi Prototypes Low Fidelity Prototypes Development

  6. Low-Fi Prototypes Prototypes Evaluation • we made about 10 sessions of prototypes evaluation • each person was only given one type of our possible two prototypes • this was made because if they were given the two alternatives, we wouldn’t get accurate results for the second one • also, we asked the users to talk to us, as they were perform the tasks

  7. Low-Fi Prototypes Prototypes Evaluation • we asked the users to perform three taks: • visualize all the photos from the Summer 2012 • upload photos from your facebook account to the PhoO application • search the beach photos of Richard

  8. Low-Fi Prototypes Prototypes Evaluation • having those tasks, we decided to perform our evaluation into some tests: • was the task completed? • some approach of the duration of the task • because this aren’t functional prototypes • was the task difficult? (from 1 to 5) • was it satisfying to perform? (from 1 to 5) • after the tests, we asked the users to give their opinion whether on what they thought is wrong and also other random opinions they might have

  9. Low-Fi Prototypes Results Obtained • based on the tests observation and on the answers users gave us, we identified some problems about our LFPs • some solutions were already made in the other alternative, but some others had to be added from scratch

  10. Low-Fi Prototypes Results Obtained • by not having a search icon in the menu, people couldn’t find photos • search icon in the initial menu was added

  11. Low-Fi Prototypes Results Obtained • if name is a tag, many photos can have the same name • description is too much unnecessary information • the screen is too confusing • name and description were removed • the screen is now less confusing • a tooltip was added to help the users

  12. Low-Fi Prototypes Results Obtained • search options don’t allow searching by multiple tags • search by multiple tags allowed
