  1. Purpose: Compare unweighted internal and external absorbed dose rates assuming 1 Bq kg-1 in organism & 1 Bq unit-1 media respectively Radionuclides (n=74) considered – those from draft ICRP RAP report (+55Fe) Did not include noble gases (Ar, Kr Rn) which had been requested by some group members ‘Exercise 3’

  2. Exercise 3 Organism geometries taken from information supplied for ICRP RAPs to BWG Exercise 1 [need to check consistent with in-press report]: Hmmmm – Flatfish egg 0.2 0.2 0.2 4.19x10-6 kg

  3. Exercise 3 Exposure scenarios results requested for:

  4. Multiple runs of same model • RESRAD-BIOTA – results input using available software tool where radionuclide included v’s more complete set of results submitted by ANL • ‘ERICA’ – (i) two sets non-developer use of Tool default; non-developer ‘create organism’; (ii) ICRP RAP report, (iii) K-Biota, (iv) results using default values • R&D128 – (i) available spreadsheets; (ii) underlying methodology; (iii) analogue approach

  5. For comparison all predictions normalised to ‘infinite dose rate’ for given RN-exposure scenario Infinite dose rate estimated assuming inclusion of progeny with T1/2’s ≤ 20 d Infinite dose rate is same for all geometries for given RN-exposure scenario
