Technical Without techies the actors would be naked in the dark, on an empty stage, with no one to hear them, no one to come see them, nothing to sit on, nothing to hold, and no use to exist.
International Award Winners The Fringe Festival is to theatre, what the Olympics are to athletics. In 2010 the CMP were one of 24 high schools in the entire United States who were invited to perform at the Fringe Festival in Scotland as part of the American High School Theatre Festival. We were the first high school from Louisiana to perform at the Fringe. We returned in 2016 and had a wonderful time. We have been invited back; we basically have a standing invitation. However, we have to raise around $130,000 each time we go; so I am not sure when I will be up for this again.
