2 Samuel 5:9-12

2. 2 Samuel 5:9-12 9 Then David dwelt in the stronghold, and called it the City of David. And David built all around from the Millo and inward. 10 So David went on and became great, and the LORD God of hosts was with him.

3. 2 Samuel 5:9-12 11 Then Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters and masons. And they built David a house. 12 So David knew that the LORD had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted His kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.

15. GOD IS ABLE TO BRING US OUT OF THE "HORRIBLE PIT" AND THE "MIRY CLAY", AND SET OUR FEET ON SOLID GROUND

16. HE WILL ESTABLISH OUR STEPS. HE WILL PUT A NEW SONG IN OUR MOUTHS. PEOPLE WILL SEE THIS AND PUT THEIR TRUST IN OUR LORD!

Isaiah 61:1-7 4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations. 5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

21. Isaiah 61:1-7 6 But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast.

22. Isaiah 61:1-7 7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.

23. The Holy Spirit will do this for us: BEAUTY FOR ASHES JOY FOR MOURNING PRAISE FOR HEAVINESS DOUBLE HONOR FOR SHAME REJOICING FOR CONFUSION

25. GOD IS ABLE TO BRING FRUITFULNESS FOR ALL YOUR HARDSHIPS, LABOR AND TOIL

30. TODAY! A LIFTING UP OUT OF YOUR HORRIBLE PIT, OUT OF YOUR MIRY CLAY

31. TODAY! BEAUTY FOR ASHES JOY FOR MOURNING

32. TODAY! PRAISE FOR HEAVINESS DOUBLE HONOR FOR SHAME

33. TODAY! REJOICING FOR CONFUSION

34. TODAY! FRUITFULNESS FOR ALL YOUR HARDSHIPS, LABOR AND TOIL

35. TODAY! DOUBLE MEASURE FOR ALL YOU HAVE LOST

36. Believe God today! Stand patient in faith. The Lord is compassionate and merciful! God will come through for you!
