  2. Prejudice (Noun/Verb) • * an irrational hatred of a person, group, or race based upon a preconceived opinion or judgment • * The prejudice that the girl felt from what she was wearing was rude and aggravating. • Synonyms: preconceived idea, prejudgment • Antonyms: fairness, approval

  3. Stereotype (noun) • * a generalization of a person; a person who is regarded, not as an individual, but as a member of a group or nationality. • *The stereotype that all women love shopping isn’t always true. • Synonyms: pattern, mold • Antonyms: difference

  4. Scapegoat (Noun) • * an innocent person, group, or race who is blamed for the general problems of society and punished harshly for them • *Even though Jim did not steal your wallet, you are still using him as a scapegoat to cover for your son’s thievery! • Synonyms: fall guy, victim

  5. Genocide (NOUN) • * the killing of (or the intent to kill) an entire national or ethnic group. • * As a result of genocide in the small nation, thousands of children have now become homeless orphans. • Synonyms: mass murder, holocaust • Antonyms: build, create
