Matthew 21:1-2 When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to Me.”

Matthew 21:1-2 When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to Me.”
Matthew 21:3 “If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.”
Matthew 21:4-5 This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: 5 “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold your King is coming to you, gentle, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation,Humble, and mounted on a donkey,Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.(Zechariah 9:9).
Matthew 21:6-7 The disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed them, 7 and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their coats on them; and He sat on the coats.
Matthew 21:8 Most of the crowd spread their coats in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road.
Matthew 21:9 “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed in He who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!” The crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting,
This is the day which the LORD has made;Let us rejoice and be glad in it. 25 O LORD, do save, we beseech You; O LORD, we beseech You, do send prosperity!26 Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD;We have blessed you from the house of the LORD. (Psalm 118:24-26).
The LORD is God, and He has given us light; Bind the festival sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.28 You are my God, and I give thanks to You;You are my God, I extol You.29 Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good;For His lovingkindness is everlasting. (Psalm 118:27-29).
The stone which the builders rejectedHas become the chief corner stone. 23 This is the LORD'S doing;It is marvelous in our eyes. (Psalm 118:22-23).
Matthew 21:10-11 When He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” 11 And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.”

And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves (Matthew 21:12).
And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robbers’ den.” (Matthew 21:13).
Also the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD,To minister to Him, and to love the name of the LORD,To be His servants, every one who keeps from profaning the sabbathAnd holds fast My covenant (Isaiah 56:6).
Even those I will bring to My holy mountain And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar;For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples. (Isaiah 56:7).
Matthew 21:14 And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.
Matthew 21:15-16 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant 16 and said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies You have prepared praise for Yourself’?”
O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!2 From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strengthBecause of Your adversaries,To make the enemy and the revengeful cease. (Psalm 8:1-2).
Matthew 21:17 And He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and spent the night there.
