  1. Filtration is an operation that separate solids from fluids or solids from gases using a medium through which only the fluid (gas) can pass. Filters for aquariums remove solid waste is any type of dirt, particle, or debris floating in the water like fish waste and uneaten fish food. Chemistry filters are usually a membrane or layer to physically block certain objects or substances while letting others through. Air filters are composed of fibrous materials which removes solid particulates such as dust, pollen, mold, and bacteria from the air. Indoor air pollutants are unwanted, sometimes harmful materials in the air and they are among the top five environmental health risks. The ventilation, however, is usually limited by weather conditions and contaminants in outdoor air, so an air cleaning device may be useful. Air purification systems often use carbon filters that are major combaters of everything from allergens and harsh pollutants to unpleasant tastes and odors. The huge surface area of activated carbon allows it to attach to the surface contaminants and they are trapped. When there is no more surface left to adsorb to the carbon, it is depleted of its capability to be effective. The water in aquariums pollute by passing waste and food, it makes the aquarium water dirty, and the environment becomes unhealthy for the pets and even gives off bad odor. Aquarium filters keep tank's water clean and fish healthy by air-driven, undergravel filters and external canister filtration. The most basic and widely used filters that do not do much in the way of mechanical, chemical or biological filtration is the Sponge/air filter. Air pump forces water trough sponge material and provide excellent mechanical, chemical and biological filtration. Sponge filters provide a medium for bacteria that comes in contact with circulating water and provides biological filtration

  2. Nose filters fit inside the nostrils and eliminates or reduce dust, smoke, foul odors and other pollutants and allergens. Adaptable shape and in minimum three sizes (small, medium and large) are usually enough to be comfortable and gently open your airways to allow easy breathing through the nostrils. By using nasal filters, many people have reduced their reliance on medications that may produce unwanted side effects or lessened the risk of a reaction to environmental pollutants. A traditional furnace draws air in via return ducts, warms it over a heat exchanger and pushes the heated air off into rooms throughout your home. A filter might seem like a fairly insignificant part of a furnace or A/C system, yet good airflow is vital and If your filter is clean, your system works efficiently. If you suffer from allergies or asthma, furnace air filters are especially important, besides, furnace filters effectively pick up dirt and dust from being sucked into your furnace, air conditioner, or HVAC unit. There are two reasons to filter wine: aesthetics and microbial stability. Typical winemaking pore sizes are 5-0.45 micron, the smaller the holes, the “tighter” the filter is. As the wine passes through the wine filter the larger microbes become stuck and are removed from the wine, 2-micron filters are used to remove yeast, and 0.45-microns are needed to remove bacteria.
