  2. About Csi:miami CSI: Miami is filmed primarily in the United States. Location shots are filmed in the South Florida/Miami-Dade area. Some scenes, mainly outdoor, are filmed in Long Beach, CA. Beach areas of Downtown Long Beach are often used for outdoor scenes: Marina Green Park, Rainbow Lagoon Park. The newly constructed high-rise condos there give the presence of Miami. The sculptured walkway paying tribute to the old Pike Roller Coaster can be seen in the background in the episode "Under The Influence" (original air date 10/04/04). There, Alex and Horatio investigate a body found on Shoreline Drive, a street made famous by the Long Beach Grand Prix. CSI: Miami (aka. Crime Scene Investigation: Miami) is a spin-off of the popular CBS network series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The show trails the investigations of a team of Miami-Dade Police Department forensic scientists as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths and crimes committed. CSI: Miami is produced in partnership with the Canadian media company Alliance Atlantis and CBS Paramount Television. On May 14, 2008, CBS renewed the show for a seventh season. Season 7 will began airing in Fall, 2008.

  3. About Csi:New York CSI: NY is an American police procedural television series, which premiered on September 22, 2004. The series was the second spin-off, indirectly, from the popular CBS show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and directly from CSI: Miami, during an episode of which several of the CSI: NY characters made their first appearance. It trails the investigations of a team of New York City Police Department forensic scientists as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths and other crimes. CSI: NY is produced in partnership with the Canadian media company Alliance Atlantis. The show has officially been renewed for a fifth season. It will be back to the normal 24 episodes. It will also feature the show's 100th episode, which will be episode 508. While some location shots are filmed in New York City to add some special elements that cannot be easily re-created in a studio, much of the footage is shot in the Los Angeles area due to cheaper production and studio costs. Episode segments have also been filmed in Chicago.

About Csi:crime scene investigation CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (commonly referred to as CSI) is an Emmy Award–winning CBS television series that trails the investigations of a team of Las Vegas forensic scientists as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths and other crimes.CSIis produced in partnership with the Canadian media company Alliance Atlantis. On May 14, 2008, CBS renewed the show for a ninth season. Season 9 will begin airing in Fall, 2008. Besides its produced partnership with Alliance Atlantis, CSI is also produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television and CBS Productions, which became CBS Paramount Television in the fall of 2006. On January 10, 2007, it was announced that Alliance Atlantis would be acquired by a consortium of CanWest Global and GS Capital Partners, an affiliate of Goldman Sachs. The CSI franchise is now owned by CBS Paramount as it gained internal distribution rights to the program. There are two spin-offs to this show, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.
