Energy Skills Foundation Programme Pilot project – Sept. 2009 start, recruited 15 candidates 10 month structured industry led training: Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Fab & Weld Sector awareness (Renewables, Oil & Gas, Nuclear) Projects based on energy site visits (Sizewell B, Bacton, Seajacks Installation Vessel) Guaranteed 6 month work trials on completion Partners: Employers, ECITB, COGENT, Skills for Energy
