  3. For Installation, the only equipment required is an excavator and a lifting chain. By attaching the chain to the lifting eye available on the excavator arm, feed the other end of the chain through the lifting hole provided at the top of the trench sheet, and lift into position. Use a “grounds man” to assist with positioning the trench sheet in the correct location. Ensure lifting eye and chain are certified, and use only competent personnel to complete the task. • Once the sheet piles is in the correct location (ensuring the sheet is plumb), use the bottom of the excavator bucket to push down on the top of the sheet.
