  3. With negative phrases, the ne will always be in front of the verb: • Je neveuxrien faire. • I don’t want to do anything. • Aucuneneparlepolonais. • No one speaks Polish.

  4. Indefinite pronouns can be used as subjects, direct objects, indirect objects and objects of the preposition: • Uneautre arrive dans 20 minutes. • Je neconnaispersonneici. • Tu as parlé à quelqu’un? • Elle les achète pour tout le monde.

  5. When using with a quantity, use en: • Avez-vous des valises? • Do you have bags? • Oui, nous enavonplusiers. • Yes, we have several.

  6. The verb is always singular when these are used as a subject: • Tout le monde veutvoir les pyramids. • Rienn’est impossible.

  7. Quelqu’un, personne, quelque chose & rien can be modified by an adjective & are always masculine when doing so. • Use de in front of the adjective: • C’estquelque chose d’impressionant. • That’s an impressive thing. • Rien de spécial. • Nothing special.
