This research project, conducted by universities in Europe and China, focuses on patterns, mechanisms, and governance strategies related to inequality and mobility in mega-city regions. The aim is to generate pathways toward more equitable and wealthy urban environments through the integration of developed models and new indicators, as well as analytics for policy analysis and governance. Research achievements include population mapping, urban big data analytics, human mobility patterns, residential choices of middle-to-low income groups, spatial computing, and urban growth modeling.
