  3. Around 20% of adolescents are found to be suffering with mental heal issues. Their brain development together with hormonal changes makes them more prone to engage in risky behaviors and develop teen mental health problems like: • Depression: a teen suffering with depression may show the following symptoms: • He will become moody and cry unexpectedly. • He will either eat a lot or lose appetite. • He will often mention of hurting himself. http://www.polaristeen.com/

There will be noticeable changes in his sleeping Patterns. • He would prefer isolation. • He would stay away from social groups and friends. • Eating Disorders • There are commonly two types of eating disorders, namely anorexia, in which the teen starves him to maintain an unrealistic body image and bulimia, in which the teen eats a lot and then vomits to get rid of extra calories. http://www.polaristeen.com/
