  2. Radiation – What I must know TRAINING & DOSIMETRY according to area classification zone Safety TalkEN DSO & EROS • Supervised (e-course) • Controlled area (classroom, refresher e-course) • Check your training ranks: cern.ch/adams • Personnel dosimeter – DIS • Operational dosimeter – DMC • Announce your DMC needs: cern.ch/dosimetry RP Surveys: http://cern.ch/rp-pset http://cern.ch/rp-lhc • PREPARATION and APPROVAL according to intervention classification • Activity in radiation area RP Assessment in IMPACT • If intervention is level 2 or 3  DIMR with WDP • DIMR approval is fully integrated in IMPACT: • Level 1  RSSO, RP • Level 2  RSO, RP, group leader • Level 3  ALARA committee, sector head WHO HELPS with the PREPARATION? 5. Extra: WDP / DIMR / Activity • WDP only needed for Level 2 or 3  more than 500 person.µSv collective dose. • WDP is possible for Level 1, but not recommended • If WDP linked to DIMR and linked to IMPACT  RP must fill out all dose rates, must check and approve [time!!!] • For Level 1 interventions: if you want a Modus Operandus you can create a stand-alone WDP, with or without dose rates (estimates from RP-survey). Rather than link it to your Activity, just refer to the WDP nr in a comment. No DIMR will be created, no RP dose rate check or additional approval is needed.
