Upcoming 2020 Divisions Spring Meeting: Presenter: Christy Maes, MPA, CPST, Division Program ManagerTENTATIVE SCHEDULE:Location: Pittsburgh, PA Date: Wednesday, March 11-Friday, March 13, 2020YPD Meeting Time: 10:00 a.m. ET-12:00 pm ET(Industry-specific Divisions meet in the afternoon on Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. ET– 3:30 p.m. ET)Thursday, March 14: Division members attend NECE (Registration fee for one day expo included in Spring Divisions meeting cost)Friday, March 15: Divisions attend NECE (optional)(Registration link to come)
Upcoming 2020 Divisions Spring MeetingPoints of Discussion: 1. At the 2020 Spring Divisions meeting in Pittsburgh, PA, the YPD meeting is tentatively scheduled to meet 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET. Is that enough meeting time or does the Division want to extend the meeting time to 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET? Starting the Division meeting at 9:00 a.m. would mean that this group would miss the event’s Opening Keynote Session. 2. The Opening Session Keynote speaker is Cary Usrey, Process Improvement Leader, Predictive Solutions. Does the YPD feel that attendance at Opening Session would be beneficial to them professionally? Is an official Opening Session needed?
