  2. Stephen R. Ventre joined the United States Marines because he wanted to serve his country and reap the benefits of being a part of a military organization that put its members and its membership above all else.

  3. Mr. Ventre was honorably discharged in 1996, and since then, he has found success as a business leader thanks to the connections he made in the military, the skills he learned, and perhaps most of all, the sense of personal duty and discipline he took back to civilian life with him.

  4. Stephen R. Ventre understands that the military is not for everyone, but for him, the community of the Marines has created many opportunities for his life after he was honorably discharged. Teamwork is not only a necessary component of succeeding in any military branch, it is instilled in every lesson the Marines teach their members from the moment they join.
