  2. Stephen R. Ventre has created several companies and businesses over his long career after earning his honorable discharge from the United States Marines in 1996. He has learned what works in a business plan and what usually doesn’t. Ventre’s Dedicated Sound and Audio is successful because of new products he helped research and develop that have disrupted the market.

  3. His Fashion Forward International clothing company found success because of a variety of deals and negotiations he conducted. There are many ways to be successful in any business context. Here are three:

  4. Disruption : Stephen R. Ventre isn’t a large-scale market disruptor, but his Sound Art products, which combines high fidelity speakers with high quality artwork, disrupted the home theater and speaker market enough to keep Dedicated Sound and Audio successful.

  5. Distribution Advantage : Ventre negotiated a crucial contract with clothing companies and partners in South Korea so that his Fashion Forward International could control a large share of denim distribution in that country.

  6. Superior pricing : Undercutting one’s competition is usually only possible if a business can negotiate favorable supply or distribution deals that allow to cut costs on the production or improvement of products.
