  1. “The Devil Isn’t Real” • 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: • 2 Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Devil’s Devices • Disguises himself 2 Cor. 11:14-15 • Deceives us with empty promises Matt. 4:9 • Destruction is his goal for our lives 1 Pet. 5:8 • Doubt is often his initial wedge 2 Cor. 11:2-4 • God’s word (there is no hell) • God’s motive (take away happiness) • God’s character (cruel judge or pushover) Rom. 11:22

Devil is not Divided • Luke 11:18 no kingdom can stand if divided • Church of Satan (and Satanic Bible) • Churches of men (false doctrines) • Worldly people who ignore spirituality • Hypocrites who fake faith when feasible • You don’t need to sign a contract to sell your soul to the devil, just sin.

  7. Parable of the Sower • Matthew 13:3-8, 18-23 • Devil has different device for each heart • Wayside (devil steals away the Bible) • Stony (devil brings persecution) • Thorny (devil feeds worldly lusts) • Good (devil seeks division, doubts, dreads..) • He will retreat, but he will also return
