  2. WHAT IS FORKLIFT TRAINING LICENCE? If you want to operate a forklift in New South Wales, you need a licence to operate forklift. It is a licence/certificate which ensures that the person who is operating forklift is specified in this work. There are 2 classes of forklift licences: 1. Class LF Licence                                2. Class LO Licence WHY FORKLIFT LICENCE IS NECESSARY? Forklifts are generally used in workplace to move material from one place to another. Thus forklift carry heavy loads during operation. In order to ensure safe operations at workplace, the forklift operator should be trained with a valid forklift operating licence. By attaining a forklift licence, it is a good way to ensure the safety at workplace. If the forklift operator will not be certified there will security concerns and accident can take place. Such accidents can lead to injury or even death of the workers. Further it can result in causality like loss  to equipment and inventory items. After attaining forklift licence, operators will learn how to control speed limits, how to travel with heavy load etc. www.workplacetrainingcentre.edu.au

  3. DURATION OF THE COURSE Total duration of this course is 3 days. For the  first 2 days, training will be provided. In training, candidates will be trained in parking, lifting loads, planning, driving and inspections. On the third day, assessment will be conducted. FEES AND OTHER CHARGES The total fees of the forklift training course is $500 per person. It includes 2 days training and 1 day assessment. The course material will also be provided under this fee. In addition to this, if any candidate require additional assessments, $150 will be charged separately.  www.workplacetrainingcentre.edu.au

  4. COURSE OUTCOME On completion of the course,  candidate will get  a nationally recognized licence to operate forklifts. During the course, candidate will learn different aspects of forklift operating like parking, travelling with heavy loads, inspections and material handling. CONDITIONS FOR ASSESSMENT Candidate should be at least 18 years of age. Should be able to speak and understand English during the 2 days training and 1 day assessment.  Should be able to complete the training and assessment. LOCATION OF THE TRAINING At Workplace Training Centre: Arndell Park NSW Training can be conducted in candidate's location too if there will be a proper training room, clear operating area, a forklift and different types of loads available. www.workplacetrainingcentre.edu.au
