AVL Safety Extensions • AVL Safety Extensions as Addin for Enterprise Architect 9.3 • Specific language enhancement of SysML1.1 – AVL Meta Model • Meta Model and Addin Features support: • Item Definition • Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment • Functional Safety Concept • Technical Safety Concept • Interface to Requirement Management System
CEA-List ARTiMon • Analyses on-the-fly a flow of dated observations in order to detect hazards expressed in its formal entry language • A flow may be obtained from the instrumentation of a physical object, from the simulation of a model, the execution of a code. • Useful in the design process of complex systems, for models validation, systems testing. • Can used as an embedded component for control or diagnostic. • Operates in continuous time or in logical time mode. • No limitation about the length of flow (memory is bounded and predictable).
CEA-List ARTiMon – Big Picture Timing Contracts HEV Simulink Model ARTiMon Detection signal Report
MDS MetaX • Mapping of design elements • Declaration and formalization of the existing relationships between fragments of artifacts involved in the development (requirements, specifications, models, source code, etc.). • Forward and backward traceability • Static safety analysis, e.g. coverage and consistency checks, by exploiting the traceability links declared between artifacts. • Change impact analysis • Assessment of the impacts implied by a given modification of an artifact at any level of the flow. • Interfacing to requirements management tools • Support of the Requirement Interchange Format (ReqIF) standard in order to interface with widespread requirements management tools
MDS MetaX – Big Picture • MDS MetaX mapping tool • Supports traceability • Between heterogeneous fragments of information • Over different tools • Semantics relationships • Change impact analysis • Refined precision (fragments) • Identify impacted elements • Guarantee consistency between coupled structured hierarchical elements
Agenda • Status of WP520 – HEV Powertrain • Tool description • Integration in CTF and CAR tool framework • Next Steps to Y3 Review Evaluation
Integration in CTF and CAR • Integration in CTF and CAR as a future perspective • At first integration at conceptual level aspired • Restrictions of Enterprise Architect need to be considered • Potential of integration still under evaluation
Integration in CTF and CAR • CTF: ARTiMon can potentially be plugged to any simulator or running device producing a trace on which one want check real time oriented properties. • CAR: ARTiMon is a C library with a simple API (to refresh variables values and time). Thus no input format is stricly imposed but a wrapper/driver/parser has to to developped for each format/environment.
Integration in CTF and CAR • Integration in CTF & CAR under investigation
Agenda • Status of WP520 – HEV Powertrain • Tool description • Integration in CTF and CAR tool framework • Next Steps to Y3 Review Evaluation
Next Steps to Y3 Review Evaluation FINISHED OPEN FINISHED IN PROGRESS
Next Steps to Y3 Review Evaluation • Obtaining some timing contracts about the HEV system from end users, stake holder, project owner • Traduction of those contracts into the ARTiMon language • Automatic check of those timing contracts against HEV simulations performed in Simulink.
Next Steps to Y3 Review Evaluation • Extensions of the supported formats (SysML, Sequences, …) • Definition of appropriate parsers for supported files • Generation of impact analysis reports
