Definitions of Quadrilaterals:Parallelogram Family A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel. A rectangle is a parallelogram with fourright angles. A rhombus is a parallelogram with four congruent sides A square is a parallelogram with four right angles and four congruent sides.
Definitions: The Trapezoid Family A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides An isosceles trapezoid is a trapezoid whose nonparallel sides are congruent.
Definitions: The Kite A kite is a quadrilateral with two pairs of adjacent congruent sides and no opposite sides are congruent.
