Learning Together • Learning In Ways That Transfer To Everyday Living • Lay a Foundation for Disciple-making • Set An Example • Equip Them to Serve • Give Them Something to Do • Teach Them to Share Their Faith
Including All Who Come “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35, NIV)
How do we do this? • Select And Train Greeters • Look for pleasant people. • Look for people who enjoy conversation and interaction. • Look for people who are observant . • Look for people who are faithful.
Including All Who Come • Prepare class members to include others. • Set a personal example. • Share regularly the need to include. • Warn about “inside” stories. • Set a spirit of expectation.
Including All Who Come • Begin enjoyable activities as students arrive. • Activities should be encourage interaction. • Activities should naturally lead to the lesson. • Activities should appeal to both the churched and non-churched.

Finding Others Who Need To Know “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching themto obey everythingI have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19,20, NIV)
How do we do this? • By partnering with the Holy Spirit • By understanding the Spiritual climate • By accepting the process • By engaging in Spiritual conversations
Important Questions • How many of my students are actively involved in finding others. • How are we equipping them to share their faith • How can we make our students more aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit during their everyday routines.
Emerging For Ministry “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16, NIV).
The Promise and the Plan • Jesus has promised to build His Church. We are commissioned to participate with Him. The Holy Spirit places ministry gifts in every church. Pray that God will guide you as you plan how to “Emerge For Ministry.”
How do we do this? • Organize Group Projects • Identify needs in your church. • Identify needs in your community. • Connect with community agencies . • Connect with national and international projects.
Facilitate a lifestyle of ministry. • Broaden the meaning of “call” and “ministry.” • Help students to discover their “gifting.” • Challenge students to connect beliefs to behavior.
Encourage one another to participate in works of service. • Highlight ministry involvement. • Continually keep ministry opportunities before your students. • Make ministry involvement an expectation of your class.
