BAGS and PURSES • Place all bags and purses under your desk • The only material on your desk should be your economics notebook and textbook • Working on other class materials in not allowed • Bags and books are used as screens for prohibited classroom activity—AGAIN, PUT THEM UNDER YOUR DESK • I do and will walk the aisles so any bags or purses are a hazard…PUT THEM UNDER YOUR DESK
Behavior Toward Others • Profanity, rude, condescending, racial, or derogatory remarks are NEVER appropriate even if “just kidding.” These remarks WILL NOT be tolerated. • If you disagree with a statement someone makes during an economic class discussions then you better back up your own statements with FACTS.

After 3 tardies after school detention will be assigned. • I will contact home for the first 3 absences you incur in this class. If you come in after half the class you are absent for the entire class. After 3 absences I will refer you the the attendance committee. • If you are passing and have 10 or more unexcused absences you will receive a NC (no credit) for the course.

Late Work • Late work is generally NOT ACCEPTED. • Each situation of late worked will be judged on a case by case basis, but must have a compelling reason to be accepted. • Acceptance of LATE WORK is ALWAYS at the teachers discretion. • ALL accepted late work will have 10 percent (one letter grade) deducted for each day late.
